Nintendo isn’t up for major announcements during Gamescom as it will host an Indie World presentation. The show is already up and counting on Youtube and will feature indie games for Nintendo Switch and probably some hot news for their upcoming console, Nintendo Switch Lite.
Coming up, we find Microsoft and their Inside Xbox conference according to the Gamescom 2019 schedule. We have some major news during this presentation, noteworthy for all Xbox fans. Titles like Halo Infinite, Gears 5 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are rumored to be in the presentation, although we have to be patient to see how this holds up.
The new big name in the video game console war, Google is also bringing Stadia to Gamescom with new trailers and announcements before the big release of the cloud service. We dare to say that this might be the most interesting presentation in the bunch as it will forecast the first few months of Google Stadia.
Last but not least, we have the Gamescom Opening Night Live. Although its name isn’t depictive enough, the Opening Night live will find Game Awards host Geoff Keighley taking the stage along with several publishers to announce new games and more. Activision, Bandai Namco, Capcom, 2K, Sony Interactive and more will be present to show off their next big projects. Tune in for this presentation as it will be the talk of the industry for the next weeks.
As you can see from the trailer above, many huge upcoming titles will be present during the show. Death Stranding and The Last of Us 2 will be there. Also, Borderlands 3 and more. It will be a blast.
This is pretty much everything you need to know about the Gamescom 2019 schedule. As a result, we’ll be back with more news as the conference commences.
